Overview

The Food & Beverage Manager assists the department head in overseeing food and beverage activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards. The role involves maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include interviewing, training, supervising, coaching, scheduling, and managing staff.

Qualifications

  • Read, write, and speak English.
  • Prefer two to three years of fine dining experience.
  • Prefer two years of banquet management experience.
  • Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
  • Effective communication skills with the public and staff.
  • Meet minimum age requirements.
  • Previous supervisory/management experience.
  • Requires 8th grade math level, high school reasoning, and 12th grade language use levels.
  • No employee will pose a direct threat to health or safety.
