Job summary

The Country Club at DC Ranch is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead daily F&B operations across Clubhouse and Ranch House. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in food & beverage, private clubs, resorts, hotels, or customer service preferred.
  • Demonstrated interest in leadership within F&B or hospitality operations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional, dependable, and proactive in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Able to take feedback and adapt to different operations/leadership styles.
  • Build positive relationships with Members, guests, and staff.
  • MS Office familiarity; experience with hospitality POS or scheduling systems is a plus.
  • Food-safety certifications or ability to obtain them upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily Food & Beverage operations including opening/closing procedures and shift transitions.
  • Maintain a visible service presence, engaging with Members for personalized experiences.
  • Coach, train, and develop F&B staff with clear performance expectations.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, recognition, and professional development.
  • Create staff schedules based on business levels and labor productivity.
  • Monitor payroll, labor costs, overtime, and staffing needs.
  • Oversee service standards, menu knowledge, POS procedures, and SOPs.
  • Address Member feedback and continuously improve the Member experience.
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, waste controls, and operational expenses.
  • Understand departmental financial performance including budgets and P&L.

The Country Club at DC Ranch is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a polished, hands-on hospitality professional who is passionate about leading teams, creating memorable member experiences, and maintaining the highest standards of service.

The Food & Beverage Manager will play an integral role in the day-to-day leadership of our dining operations, including the Clubhouse and Ranch House. Working closely with the Food & Beverage leadership team, this position will oversee service execution, employee training and development, member relations, scheduling, and daily outlet operations while helping foster a positive, accountable, and service-driven culture.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Business, or a related field preferred; current hospitality students and candidates with equivalent experience will also be considered
  • Previous experience in food & beverage, restaurants, private clubs, resorts, hotels, or customer service preferred
  • A demonstrated interest in pursuing a leadership career within Food & Beverage or hospitality operations
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Professional, dependable, and comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced service environment
  • Ability to accept coaching, apply feedback, and adapt to different operations and leadership styles
  • Ability to build positive relationships with Members, guests, employees, and Club leaders
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with hospitality POS or scheduling systems is a plus
  • Food-safety and responsible alcohol-service certifications, or the ability to obtain required certifications upon hire
Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily Food & Beverage operations, including opening and closing procedures, outlet readiness, pre-shift meetings, floor supervision, service execution, and shift transitions
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout service, actively engaging with Members and guests to ensure attentive, personalized, and consistent experiences
  • Lead, coach, train, and develop Food & Beverage employees while establishing clear expectations and maintaining accountability for performance and service standards
  • Support employee recruitment, onboarding, training, recognition, performance management, and ongoing professional development
  • Create and manage employee schedules and staffing plans based on anticipated business levels, operational needs, labor productivity, and employee availability
  • Monitor timekeeping, payroll, labor costs, overtime, and daily staffing needs, making adjustments as necessary to support operational and financial objectives
  • Oversee service standards, menu knowledge, POS procedures, safety practices, sanitation requirements, responsible alcohol service, and departmental SOPs
  • Proactively address Member feedback and service recovery needs, resolving concerns professionally and identifying opportunities to continuously improve the Member experience
  • Manage inventory, receiving, product storage, supplies, purchasing, waste controls, and other operational expenses
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of departmental financial performance, including budgets, P&L statements, labor costs, inventory, cost controls, and productivity
  • Conduct regular inspections of dining and service areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, presentation, and operational readiness
  • Support the planning and execution of Club events, holiday functions, Member activations, menu rollouts, private parties, and other Food & Beverage programming
  • Collaborate closely with Culinary, Beverage, Events, Golf, and other Club departments to ensure seamless communication and execution
  • Maintain accurate POS procedures, reservations, daily reporting, payroll and timekeeping records, and other required operational documentation
  • Serve as Manager on Duty for assigned dining periods, Club events, and Food & Beverage operations as needed
  • Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture aligned with the Club’s values and commitment to exceptional Member service
  • Participate in departmental and Club leadership meetings and contribute to operational planning, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Schedule:
  • Must be willing to work weekdays, weekends, holidays as necessary
  • We are closed Christmas eve evening and all day Christmas!
