Job summary

Six Flags Great America & Hurricane Harbor is seeking interns to support foodservice operations and guest services. You will lead a team, ensure readiness of locations, and uphold fast, friendly service while managing controllable expenses in a dynamic theme park setting.

Responsibilities include training staff, inventory, food preparation, safety compliance, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. Availability through late spring to late summer is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age 16; locations 18+ for some sites.
• Outgoing, professional and friendly demeanor.
• Good communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to train, multitask, work well with others and follow directions.
• Ability to stand/walk up to 6 hours in all weather conditions.
• Flexible availability: nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensures assigned locations are 100% ready for each operating day.
• Lead and motivate a team to meet guest expectations and manage expenses.
• Provide exceptional guest service and upsell opportunities.
• Follow food safety and FDA guidelines in food prep and handling.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to attendance policies and Six Flags policies.
