Job summary

Target is hiring a Food & Beverage Expert in Indiana to deliver friendly, guest-focused service on the sales floor. Youll greet customers, assist with finding products and resolving issues, and ensure freshness and accurate pricing across all food & beverage areas.

The role requires physical activity, teamwork, and flexibility for varying shifts, including nights and weekends. Training is provided to help you develop essential guest-service and stock-management skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery Only)
• Prior food or grocery experience preferred but not required
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
• Work both independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
• Capable of staying focused in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience.
• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft with a warm, helpful interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Deliver exceptional guest experience while prioritizing guest needs over tasks.
• Follow Target Food & Beverage standards and procedures.
• Handle food deliveries, replenishment, signing and organizing of stock.
