AC Hotel Tuscaloosa Downtown is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage leader to supervise the department and coordinate service delivery.

As part of Wequassett, you will manage budgeting, staff development, and cost controls, while collaborating with Sales for events and catering, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety on a fast-paced shift.

Qualifikationen

• Five years of experience in back-of-house operations (purchasing, kitchen operation, bar and banquets).

• Participates in planning and budgeting with the Controller and General Manager.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Required Training/

Education/Experience:

Previous experience and training in cost control, labor relations and/or food and beverage service required. Five years of experience in the "back of the house" in areas such as purchasing, kitchen operation, bar and restaurant, and banquets.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have command of the English language, written and verbal.
• Must be able to organize time effective and work flexible and extended hours if necessary.
• Must be able to work flexible days and hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic computer usage skills.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time (90 percent of shift).
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Good hearing and vision with or without corrective lenses.
• Long hours sometimes required.
