AC Hotel Tuscaloosa Downtown is seeking an experienced F&B leader to supervise the Food and Beverage Department and coordinate all service delivery in a busy hotel environment.

You will hire and train managers, enforce sanitation standards, manage inventories and budgeting, and work with the Sales team on catering and events. Strong English, supervisory experience, and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in the back of the house in areas such as purchasing, kitchen operation, bar and restaurant, and banquets.
• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience.
• Must have command of the English language, written and verbal.
• Must be able to organize time effectively and work flexible and extended hours if necessary.
• Must be able to work flexible days and hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Participates in planning and budgeting with the Controller and General Manager.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Required Training/

Education/Experience:

Previous experience and training in cost control, labor relations and/or food and beverage service required. Five years of experience in the "back of the house" in areas such as purchasing, kitchen operation, bar and restaurant, and banquets.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have command of the English language, written and verbal.
• Must be able to organize time effective and work flexible and extended hours if necessary.
• Must be able to work flexible days and hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic computer usage skills.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time (90 percent of shift).
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Good hearing and vision with or without corrective lenses.
• Long hours sometimes required.
