Job summary

Penn Entertainment, Inc. is seeking a host/server associate to support daily operations at our Ohio venue.

You will clear and reset tables, assist servers by delivering orders, and attentively monitor guest needs to ensure a smooth, enjoyable dining experience. This role requires excellent customer service, strong English communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable of menu selections.
• Read, write legibly, understand and speak English.
• Excellent customer service/communication skills.
• Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
• Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
• Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
• Able to work in constricting areas.
• Able to tolerate noise and bright lights.
• Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Clearing all tables and resetting them for new seating in accordance with venue standards.
• Ensuring each table is ready for guests’ arrival in accordance with venue standards.
• Performing service duties for servers by picking up their orders when ready in the kitchen and delivering them.
• Monitoring tables to assess guests’ needs and respond to guest requests after meals.
• Restocking and cleaning assigned station at end of shift per Health standards.
• Interacting with guests and coworkers in a helpful, positive, upbeat, professional manner.
• Attending pre-shift meetings.
• Maintaining regular and consistent attendance.
• Participating as a team member with all servers, venue hosts, supervisors and kitchen staff.
• Declaring tips through time and attendance system at end of each shift.

Responsibilities

Your Daily Responsibilities Include:

• Clearingall tables and resetting them for new seating in accordance with venue standards


• Ensuring each table is ready for guests’ arrival in accordance with venue standards
