Copper Springs Behavioral Health in Avondale, AZ, seeks a Food and Nutritional Services Worker to support meal preparation, distribution, and sanitation for patients and guests. You will assist with tray delivery, catering events, and maintaining safe, clean service areas.

The role reports to the Director of Dietary and requires ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting with minimal supervision, including handling stressful situations while providing quality care.

How You'll Contribute

A Food and Nutritional Services Worker who excels in this role:

• Performs a variety of preparation, distribution, and sanitation functions in support of assigned areas.
• Reports to the Director of Dietary.
• Assists with preparing food and beverages for distribution to patients, guests, service/dining areas, and catering services.
• Stores food, beverages, and supplies in designated containers and areas according to policies and procedures.
• Assists with customer-facing duties as assigned, including tray delivery and catering special events.
• Assists with sanitation duties, including dishwashing and maintaining work and food service areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.

Education

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma Preferred.

Skills

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Schedule

Full-time, Friday-Tuesday (1030am-7pm), Wednesday and Thursday off

Copper Springs is a behavioral health hospital located in Avondale, AZ, part of the greater Phoenix metro area. We provide inpatient and outpatient programming for those facing mental health and addiction challenges. Our programs offer caring, compassionate treatment for adolescents and adults, as well as specialized programming for active-duty military, veterans, first responders, and other high-risk frontline professionals.
