Job summary

Desert Mountain Club is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead service across lunch and dinner in the club’s restaurant, lounge, and banquet settings. You will maintain high visibility with guests, support training initiatives, and ensure exceptional dining experiences for members and guests.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in food and beverage with leadership experience, preferably in upscale resort, hotel, or country club settings.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of food and beverage experience and prior leadership experience required.
• Upscale resort, hotel, or country club experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff during lunch and dinner service in restaurant, lounge, dining room and patio.
• Maintain high visibility in dining room to ensure prompt, knowledgeable service.
• Assist Clubhouse Manager with training and developing dining staff through ongoing education.
• Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage menu items including cocktails, beer, and wine.
• Promote and maximize food and wine sales via team member suggestive selling.
• Provide ongoing updates of the member profile system and manage flow in busy areas.

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and assisting the Clubhouse leadership team in all Food and Beverage areas of service to include but not limited to a la carte, dinner, lounge, Social Club Offerings, comfort station, range house, and Banquet Operations.

The ideal candidate will be outgoing, professional, and a team player with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for delivering exceptional experiences. At least 3 years of food and beverage experience and prior leadership experience is required. Upscale resort, hotel, or country club experience is a plus.

• Assist the Clubhouse Manager with training and developing the dining staff through ongoing education.
• Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage menu items to include cocktails, beer, and wine.
• Maintain a high-level dining experience with the mindset that we’re a family serving family.
• Communicate and answer questions regarding restaurant and club events, mountain wide in a professional and courteous manner. Direct feedback, questions, and comments to appropriate manager or department.
• Promote and maximize food and wine sales potential via team member suggestive selling.
• Provide ongoing updates and revisions of the member profile system.
• Responsible for flow management, concentrating on busy areas first.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Required to be on feet for long periods of time.
• Required to work, days, nights, weekends and holidays.
