Job summary

Bally's Black Hawk Casino in Black Hawk, CO is seeking a Food & Beverage Department Supervisor to provide guidance and daily supervision to staff, support operational goals and ensure guest satisfaction across all outlets.

The role involves assisting with scheduling, maintaining sanitation standards, supervising front-of-house, monitoring costs and inventory, and upholding safety and company service standards.

• Provide guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department, supporting operational goals and monitoring performance and profit objectives.
• Assist with developing schedules and coordinate with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
• Monitors appearance of food/beverage and communicates deviations to ensure standards and conducts regular table-touches for guest satisfaction.
• Provide hands-on leadership for all food and beverage outlets, coaching team members and advising on disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Maintain a pleasant, friendly attitude toward all guests at all times.
• Assist in cost control by monitoring pars and inventory; order and stock items and maintain inventory control.
• Ensure all areas of the restaurant front-of-house are maintained and compliant with sanitation standards.
• Know casino events and promotional activities to assist guest engagement.
• Ensure the safety and security of team members and guests.
• Promote superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and address issues as they arise.
• Assist in development of procedures for food service and inspect menu items for guest satisfaction.
• Follow quality assurance procedures to maintain health department and service standards.
• Respond to guest needs and report problems to management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements within the area and maintain confidentiality.

• Ensure all areas of the restaurants (front of house) are maintained and comply with sanitation standards.
• Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
• Ensure the safety and security of team members and guests.
• Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs and ensure customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
• Assists in the maintenance and development of procedures for food service and inspects menu items for maximum customer satisfaction.
• Follows established quality assurance procedures to ensure acceptable health department and customer service standards.
• Responds to guest needs and reports problems to Manager.
• Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
