Blue Mountain Resort in Palmerton, PA seeks a punctual Seasonal Food & Beverage Outlet Supervisor to lead a fast-paced team during the winter season (end of November to March). Responsibilities include staffing, training, enforcing safety, and driving guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Are you passionate about leading a team in Food and Beverage operations? Winter is coming and we want YOU to be a part of the Blue Mountain Resort team! We are seeking a punctual, detail-oriented Seasonal Food and Beverage Outlet Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited for an opportunity to create guests for life. This is a winter seasonal position with a tentative start date at the end of November, lasting through March.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be available to work at least 2 days per week
• Timely and reliable attendance is a MUST, even in inclement weather
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Desire to lead a growing food & beverage team
• Ability to recognize and develop talent within their staff
• Strong organizational and time management skills, particularly when working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Ability to provide outstanding guest service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to comply with and enforce health & safety regulations and policies

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent
• Promote a positive work environment through effective communication and creating a warm and engaging atmosphere
• Review scheduling and labor needs to exceed guest expectations while maximizing efficiency for forecasted business
• Coordinate staff assignments by procedures and schedule including assigning stations, side work, and cleaning of equipment and storage areas
• Assist in the development and updating of standard operating procedures and training for staff to improve the quality of service
• Maintain clean and orderly back of the house areas, pre-function areas, and storage areas
• Maintain proper inventory of respective paper and food products
• Create new ideas and ways of increasing revenue while controlling costs
• Performs other duties as assigned by management
• Attend all staff meetings as assigned
