Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort in Palmerton, PA is seeking a part-time Seasonal Food Outlet Team Member to join a fast-paced guest-focused food service team for the winter season. You will serve food and beverages, handle payments, maintain clean work areas, and support various outlets across the resort while building guest experiences.

The role requires 16+, availability 2 days/week, flexibility for nights/weekends/holidays, and strong customer service and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Available to work at least 2 days per week.
• Timely and reliable attendance is a MUST, even in inclement weather.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service and go above and beyond for our guests.
• Desire to be an integral part of a growing food & beverage team.
• Excellent organizational & time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and guests through positive interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve food & beverage products to guests in a friendly, prompt, and accurate fashion, providing recommendations upon request.
• Promote an exceptional experience to guests of various eateries throughout the resort.
• Guest payment collection along with issuing change and receipts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare and package food for consumption with proper food safety handling.
• Ensure the assigned eatery is fully equipped with all necessary materials needed to serve guests at the start of shift.
• Our Food Outlet Team Members work in a variety of different roles throughout our mountain F&B outlets.
• Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of current menu items, promotions, and the resort as a whole.
• Maintain a clean work area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning tables, counters, windows, etc. as needed.
• Attend all staff meetings as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Winter is coming and we want YOU to be a part of the Blue Mountain Resort team! Experience the opportunity to work where you play this winter. We are seeking a punctual, detail-oriented part-time Seasonal Food Outlet Team Member who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited for an opportunity to create guests for life. This is a winter seasonal position with a tentative start date at the end of November, lasting through March.
