Job summary

Lucky Star Casino is seeking F&B Kitchen staff to support a busy kitchen under supervision. You will help with line cook and kitchen utility duties, ensuring proper setup, execution of recipes, and safe, sanitary operations.

The role requires mornings, afternoons, and evenings across a seven-day schedule. The position is entry level, with pre-employment drug testing and a valid Cheyenne-Arapaho Gaming Permit required.

Job description

General Description The F&B Kitchen staff is under the direct supervision of the Food and Beverage Supervisor. F&B Kitchen Staff is responsible for providing quality food and service. Also, adhere to Lucky Star employee handbook and food and beverage policies and procedures.

Work Schedule

• Requires mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Monday through Sunday.
• Request to be scheduled off for a specific day requires advance notification and approval.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Fulfill the duties and responsibilities at any given time of line cook, or kitchen utility in accordance to policies and procedures.
• Ensure proper kitchen set-up to include prep of work space, food recipes & supplies.
• Ensure proper kitchen breakdown to include transfer product, accurate left over labeling/storage.
• Maintain high standard of food and beverage preparation to include quality and timeliness.
• Continuously maintain high level of sanitation and safety in food preparation and work area/stations.
• Maintain inventory stock levels of supplies/condiments and food.
• Must exhibit STAR treatment to all customers and co-workers.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Physical Job Requirements

• Stand/walk continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with lunch break.
• Requires bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting and pulling.
• Move objects up to and exceeding 40lbs. with reasonable accommodations.
• Kitchen environment.
