Gianni’s Restaurant at The Villa Casa Casuarina is seeking a Food and Beverage Captain (Assistant Manager) to lead front-of-house operations and support an elevated wine program. You will supervise staff, ensure seamless service, and provide expert wine knowledge to guests in a fast-paced, high-standard enviro nment.

The role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and a proactive approach to keeping dining experiences exceptional.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Position Summary: Gianni’s is seeking an experienced and service-driven Captain / Sommelier to lead front-of-house operations while supporting an elevated wine program. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences through strong leadership, seamless service execution, and expert wine knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support front-of-house team to maintain high service and hospitality standards
• Provide attentive, personalized guest service and handle concerns with professionalism
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and management to ensure smooth service flow
• Execute and support wine and sake service, including proper presentation and timing
• Maintain organization and stock of wine cellar, sommelier stations, and service areas
