Job summary

Willow Valley Communities – The Manor is hiring a Part-Time Food & Beverage Attendant to support café operations and events. You will assemble orders, assist with service, and create a warm, welcoming environment for Residents and guests.

This role emphasizes friendly, efficient service, teamwork in a fast-paced setting, and adherence to food safety standards. The position offers early hours, consistent schedule, and competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service to Residents and guests.

• Deliver food and beverages to tables.
• Assemble orders for table delivery.
• Clean and reset dining and service areas.
• Operate POS and process payments.
• Clear and reset tables for new guests.
• Observe diners and respond to requests to ensure a great dining experience.
• Assist with events and catering as needed.
• Follow HACCP and food safety policies.

Pay: $15.00/hour

What You'll Do

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will:

• Provide prompt, courteous service to Residents and guests while following Willow Valley standards.
• Set up food venues according to location-specific setup diagrams.
• Assist guests with the electronic handheld ordering system for food and beverage purchases.
• Take verbal food and beverage orders from Residents and guests at various cooking stations and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
• Deliver food and beverages to diners' tables.
• Assemble food orders for table delivery.
• Clean and reset assigned dining and service areas.
• Operate a point-of-sale system and process cash and credit card transactions.
• Clear and reset tables throughout meal service to prepare for incoming diners.
• Observe diners and promptly respond to requests to ensure an enjoyable dining experience.
• Remove soiled dishes during meal service and transport trays and bus tubs to the dish room.
• Assist with events and catering functions as assigned.
• Follow Willow Valley Communities' HACCP Plan and Food Safety policies and procedures.
• Receive and store food items according to HACCP guidelines while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
• Take ownership in creating a warm, welcoming environment and delivering exceptional customer service.

Schedule & Hours

• Permanent, year-round position (not seasonal)
• 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Monday-Friday
• 2-3 days per week
• 1 holiday rotation
