Job summary

Willow Valley Communities in Lancaster, PA, is seeking a Continental Breakfast Attendant (Part-Time) to start mornings with delicious items and friendly service. You will prepare and bake breakfast, assist with catering, and maintain a clean, welcoming dining area for Residents and guests.

Work 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with some holidays and every other weekend. Weekly pay, tuition reimbursement, team events, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous breakfast prep or baking experience (1–3 months) preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Dependable attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake breakfast items.
• Use kitchen equipment (knives, ovens, stoves, slicers) to prepare items.
• Set up and maintain food service areas during meals.
• Prepare for, set up, and clean daily catering and banquet functions.
• Clean and sanitize tables and reset for meals.
• Maintain dining room and kitchen cleanliness per schedule.
• Operate dishwashers and wash/sanitize pots, pans, and silverware.
• Assist with catering setup, delivery, and cleanup.
• Receive deliveries and store items per HACCP and ServSafe guidelines.
• Follow HACCP plan and food safety policies.
• Follow safety guidelines while handling equipment and moving food.
• Complete tasks in Daily Sanitation Checklist.
• Attend team meetings and trainings.

What You'll Do

As a valued member of our Dining Services team, you will:

• Prepare and bake food items for breakfast.
• Use kitchen equipment such as knives, ovens, stoves, and slicers to prepare daily food items.
• Set up and maintain food service areas throughout the meal period.
• Prepare for, set up, and clean daily catering and banquet functions.
• Clean and sanitize tables throughout breakfast service and reset tables for the evening meal.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining rooms and kitchen areas according to daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Operate commercial dishwashers and wash/sanitize pots, pans, dishes, and silverware.
• Assist with catering setup, delivery, and cleanup.
• Receive deliveries and store food items according to HACCP and ServSafe guidelines.
• Follow Willow Valley Communities' HACCP plan and Food Safety policies and procedures.
• Follow all safety guidelines while operating equipment, transporting food, supplies, and trash, and preparing and serving food.
• Complete tasks required by the Daily Sanitation Checklist.
• Attend team meetings, in-services, and training sessions regularly.

Qualifications include:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous experience in breakfast preparation or baking is a plus (1-3 months preferred)
