Job summary

Willow Valley Communities is seeking a Continental Breakfast Attendant for the Manor Campus in Lancaster, PA. This part-time role supports breakfast service, catering functions, and dining operations to ensure residents and guests start their day with quality hospitality. The position requires 18+ years old, some breakfast prep experience preferred, and a customer-focused, team-driven attitude.

Typical schedule is 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older
• Experience in breakfast preparation or baking is a plus (1-3 months preferred)
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Dependable and eager to learn

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake breakfast items
• Use kitchen equipment (knives, ovens, stoves, slicers)
• Set up and maintain dining service areas during meals
• Assist with catering setup, delivery and cleanup
• Receive deliveries and store items per HACCP/ServSafe
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines and complete daily checklists
• Attend team meetings and trainings

Pay

$15.00/hour

What You'll Do

As a valued member of our Dining Services team, you will:

• Prepare and bake food items for breakfast.
• Use kitchen equipment such as knives, ovens, stoves, and slicers to prepare daily food items.
• Set up and maintain food service areas throughout the meal period.
• Prepare for, set up, and clean daily catering and banquet functions.
• Clean and sanitize tables throughout breakfast service and reset tables for the evening meal.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining rooms and kitchen areas according to daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Operate commercial dishwashers and wash/sanitize pots, pans, dishes, and silverware.
• Assist with catering setup, delivery, and cleanup.
• Receive deliveries and store food items according to HACCP and ServSafe guidelines.
• Follow Willow Valley Communities' HACCP plan and Food Safety policies and procedures.
• Follow all safety guidelines while operating equipment, transporting food, supplies, and trash, and preparing and serving food.
• Complete tasks required by the Daily Sanitation Checklist.
• Attend team meetings, in-services, and training sessions regularly.

Qualifications include:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous experience in breakfast preparation or baking is a plus (1-3 months preferred)
• A passion for great customer service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Dependable attitude and willingness to learn

• Tuesday and Wednesday
• Some holidays required
• Every other weekend
