Job summary

Chobani is seeking an AMP Technician I to support all product platforms within R&D. You will operate and maintain lab and processing equipment, prepare materials, conduct experiments, and help ensure safety and quality across Chobani products.

Responsibilities include data recording, DOE planning, maintenance, and supplier coordination. Candidates should have 1–3 years in food manufacturing and a hands-on, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience operating or maintaining manufacturing equipment in a food/beverage environment.
• Ability to operate pilot plant production and laboratory testing equipment.
• Flexibility in working hours due to rotating projects.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation, CIP and COP procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
• Good verbal and written communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate AMP processing/lab equipment and support projects.
• Record observations and prepare basic lab reports.
• Plan and execute design of experiments with scientists.
• Perform maintenance, calibrations, and CIPs on equipment.
• Conduct sensory evaluations and document results.
• Procure ingredients and manage internal/external inventory.
• Coordinate shipments of ingredients to vendors within US and overseas.
• Maintain a clean work environment and sanitation duties.
