Contact Government Services, LLC (CGS) is seeking a mid-level FOIA Paralegal to join our legal team supporting a large federal agency. You will perform legal review, FOIA request processing, and related litigation support tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires paralegal credentials or law school progress, experience with eDiscovery tools, and strong FOIA knowledge. Collaborative, detail-oriented candidates will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or JD or ABA-accredited law school in progress with at least one year of study.
• At least one year of litigation paralegal experience; trial experience is helpful.
• Experience with FOIA requests and document review tools is strongly desired.
• Solid knowledge of FOIA rules and ability to cite legal authorities.

Responsibilities

• Search and analyze result sets to separate non-responsive from responsive documents.
• Screen responsive documents for privilege or FOIA exemptions.
• Redact and code responsive documents and perform legal research.
• Draft legal documents and provide litigation support.
