Alterra Mountain Company’s Solitude Mountain Resort invites applications for a Restaurant Host / Busser. This seasonal, hourly role supports the dining room by greeting guests, seating, bussing, and keeping the dining area clean and welcoming.

You will assist with expo and room service orders, work flexible PM shifts, and enjoy benefits from the Solitude Mountain Resort. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and a strong work ethic required.
• Ability to stand long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Flexible work schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Food Handler’s Permit and Utah Alcohol Training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and seating guests and communication with servers.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness, including bussing and cleaning tables, windows, and floors.
• Responsible for trash and recycling removal and disposal.
• Provide guest service while bussing tables and answering questions about mountain information.
• Take orders and deliver room service using stairs and tray service.
• Support restaurant staff with other tasks as needed.

Tables are to be bussed, cleaned, and sanitized in a quick, quiet, and efficient manner. This position will be responsible for expo. and room service orders and deliveries.
