Job summary

Parfait Paris in Coronado, CA is seeking an enthusiastic Front of House shift lead. You will warmly welcome guests, assist with menu recommendations, and manage cash/credit transactions while ensuring a top-tier dining experience for every guest.

The role requires weekend/holiday availability, strong communication, and at least one shift-lead experience. Bartista-like skills and knowledge of French desserts will help you excel in this vibrant, customer-focused team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic math and mental math for cash handling.
• Strong attention to detail in service, orders and cash register.
• Excellent communication and active listening with customers and teammates.
• Friendly, outgoing personality suited for high-energy FOH roles.
• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy with responsibilities.
• Hospitality or food service background preferred, with customer focus.
• Must have at least one shift-lead experience to supervise during service.
• Motivated by French desserts and delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and bid farewell to customers warmly.
• Suggest and upsell French cuisines and desserts to increase sales.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Open/close duties before or after shifts.
• Place end-of-day orders on online platforms.
• Address and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Possess barista skills and prepare cappuccino, latte, espresso, etc.
• Prepare crepes and sandwiches for service.
• Must be available on weekends and holidays.
