Montesacro Walnut Creek is seeking a hospitality professional to join our downtown location as a full-time server. You will deliver friendly, attentive guest service and help create a warm, Roman-inspired dining experience that makes guests feel at home.

We value authentic hospitality, product knowledge, and teamwork. You will maintain clean work areas, follow steps of service, and communicate guest needs to the team to ensure satisfaction and repeat visits.

Montesacro Walnut Creek is looking for its next hospitality professional. Located in downtown Walnut Creek, Montesacro is a modern pinseria with deep roots in Rome and a warm atmosphere that will make you feel right at home. We opened our flagship San Francisco location in 2015 and were the first to bring Roman pinsa to the United States.

List of Duties + Responsibilities

Guest Experience

Provide friendly, courteous and efficient service to all guests, ensure each need and request is tended to in a timely and effective manner.
Build relationships and create regulars

Ensure steps of service are followed consistently and consistently to ensure consistency and expectations are being upheld

Product Knowledge

Maintain an extensive knowledge of the menu and offer suggestions of dishes in accordance to the guest’s preference
Be familiar with and able to describe and sell all of our items including wines by the glass and bottle
Be able to answer any questions and provide recommendations for guests with allergies or dietary restrictions

Accountability

Maintain a clean work environment
Follow all policy and procedures listed in our employee handbook and house rules
Ensure Montesacro's standards are met and exceededon a day to day basis
Follow proper time and attendance and uniform procedures.
Able to ascertain a guest’s satisfaction and handle any problems which may arise and informing a Manager of the problem and how it was resolved
