Job summary

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee front-of-house operations, ensuring top-tier guest experiences while driving financial performance and regulatory compliance.

You will manage a diverse FOH team, mentor staff, conduct reviews, and lead initiatives to improve service quality in a fast-paced setting. The role emphasizes labor and inventory control, training programs, and close collaboration with kitchen leadership to ensure seamless service and brand standards

Qualifications

• 3 years in food and beverage industry required.
• 1 year supervisory experience required.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise a diverse FOH team.

Responsibilities

• Direct FOH operations, overseeing service delivery and guest satisfaction in high-volume settings.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate a diverse team of bartenders, hosts, servers, and support staff; manage recruitment and training.
• Conduct performance reviews and development goals for direct reports.
• Drive labor cost control, inventory, and POS operations to meet budgets.
• Proactively engage with guests to resolve complaints and build loyalty.
• Lead daily pre-shift meetings, weekly training, and monthly updates; communicate policies and priorities.
• Analyze FOH operations for inefficiencies and implement data-driven improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health codes and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Partner with kitchen leadership to align FOH and BOH operations.
