Job summary

Big Sky Resort is seeking a Food and Beverage Assistant General Manager to lead front-of-house operations and coach the service team. This role partners with the GM to drive service excellence and guest satisfaction through on-floor leadership and collaboration.

This full-time, salaried AGM role requires strong product knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to lead by example. Flexibility is needed to meet the dynamic needs of the resort’s restaurant operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FOH service experience.
• 1–3 years in a supervisory role within a restaurant.
• Food Handler certifications (or willing to obtain).
• Proficiency in scheduling, payroll, and POS platforms.
• Fluent in formal written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead FOH service operations in the absence of the GM.
• Maintain high service standards and a welcoming environment.
• Guide daily pre-service meetings and communicate updates to staff.
• Oversee labor goals and service staffing through schedules and payroll.
