Job summary

Ocala, FL – An upscale dining concept seeks an experienced Assistant General Manager to lead front-of-house service, coach the team, and deliver a consistently elevated guest experience. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes service excellence, staff development, and close collaboration with culinary leadership.

Starting compensation is $65K with potential for DOE and a growth path within a premier hospitality organization.

Qualifications

• Prior Assistant General Manager experience required.
• 3+ years of upscale restaurant management or supervisory experience.
• Strong FOH leadership and luxury hospitality experience.
• Experience with scheduling, labor, payroll, budgets, and cost controls.
• Polished, positive, and professional leadership presence.
• ServSafe and Alcohol Compliance certifications required.
• Asian dining experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily front-of-house operations and service execution.
• Lead, coach, schedule, and develop FOH team members.
• Maintain a strong floor presence and high service standards.
• Support labor, payroll, budgets, inventory, and cost controls.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and proactively.
• Assist with private dining, events, and special service periods.
• Partner with culinary leadership on menu and beverage initiatives.
