City Winery is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee all front-of-house operations and support the General Manager. The AGM will drive top-line sales while controlling expenses, develop the operations team, and lead training to uphold our culture and service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in high-volume restaurant, venue, or equivalent.
• Proven leadership and financial acumen; able to meet budgets.
• Unparalleled passion for hospitality, food, wine, and music.
• Strong multitasking and project management in fast-paced settings.
• Ability to mentor, train, and hold teams accountable.
• Detail oriented with strong execution skills.
• Knowledge of health department regulations and compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Fluent in English; reading, writing and business math.
• Proficient computer and tech skills.
• Willing to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to travel for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Review and sign off on weekly FOH team schedules with GM.
• Oversee operations of property and internal departments for events; manage shows and daily activities.
• Oversee management of Resy and reservation confirmations.
• Manage pre-shift messaging and EOD notes during duty.
• Assist in staff incentives programs and communications across FOH managers.
• Maintain healthy FOH-BOH relationship and address opportunities in weekly meetings.
• Collaborate with events to review upcoming calendar and coordinate public events.
• Address facilities issues and maintenance needs.
• Lead pre-service meetings and train on F&B policies and procedures.
• Perform related functions as needed.
