City Winery in Chicago is seeking a Front of House Operations Manager to lead daily restaurant and venue service, optimize guest experiences, and drive revenue through superb hospitality and team leadership.

You will recruit, train, and coach hourly staff, ensure smooth pre-shift operations, and maintain impeccable standards across dining, bar, and events. The role demands strong communication, problem-solving, and a passion for wine, food, and live entertainment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a high-volume hospitality setting.
• Proven leadership and staff development abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day restaurant/FOH operations and support staff during services.
• Participate in hiring, coaching, and performance management of hourly employees.
• Ensure daily readiness of restaurant and venue for operation and events.
• Oversee staffing and operations of revenue centers including venue, bar, service, and private events.
• Prepare weekly staff scheduling and monitor cleanliness and maintenance.
