Job summary

Lundbeck is seeking a Psychiatry Territory Account Manager to lead promotion of our psychiatry portfolio and drive sales strategy with deep clinical knowledge. Responsibilities include account leadership, market analysis, and reimbursement navigation to improve access.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in pharmaceutical sales, a BA/BS, and strong communication; travel up to 40% within the US, and reside within 40 miles of the territory boundaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 2+ years pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical/medical device sales experience.
• Ability to score highly on disease and product training exams and maintain certifications annually.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills.
• Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must meet credentialing requirements of healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Business Planning & Account Leadership: use data-based insights to create opportunities, develop strategy & tactics, allocate resources to maximize sales.
• Selling: convey messages clearly, probe needs, handle objections, and drive commitments to action.
• Customer Development: build relationships aligned with customer needs and goals.
• Local Market & Therapeutic Area Expertise: analyze trends, map account linkages, apply CNS knowledge to opportunities.
• Reimbursement: stay informed on payer dynamics and address access issues using Lundbeck resources.
• Pharmaceutical Environment/Compliance: adhere to regulatory requirements and Lundbeck policies.
