Job summary

Magna Seating in Shepherdsville, Kentucky is seeking a Foam Production Supervisor to oversee daily foam production operations. You will manage a team, ensure a safe, organized, and efficient work environment, and drive quality and productivity improvements.

Bachelor’s degree and two years supervisory experience are preferred, along with proficiency in MS Office; SAP experience is a plus. You will promote health, safety, and environmental standards while aligning with Magna’s objectives and EOS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, plus two years of supervisory experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Project).
• Experience with SAP systems and production communication devices preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and sound decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily foam production operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, organized, and professional work environment.
• Lead and develop employees through open communication, fair and consistent policy administration, performance management, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Drive operational excellence by improving first-run quality, productivity, labor efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Promote and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental standards by conducting training, inspections, investigations, audits, and corrective actions to maintain a safe workplace.
• Ensure compliance with Magna Employee Charter principles, Quality and Material Management Systems, ISO 14001 requirements, and company objectives while supporting high productivity and positive EOS results.
