Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience as a machine operator required.
  • Basic reading, writing and math skills required.
  • Ability to read and interpret a tape measure.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to use computerized equipment.
  • Must follow written and verbal instructions and work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cutting operations according to programs and customer specifications.
  • Perform quality checks on materials to ensure product meets specifications.
  • Unload finished cut foam material and transport to next production area.
  • Place excess trim material in baler.
  • Maintain communication with line personnel to minimize downtime.
  • Record program pertinent information.
  • Operate baler to bale and secure trim material.
  • Cross-train to operate other cutting equipment as needed.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by supervision.
