Job summary

Argo Group is seeking a Triage Specialist to support the claims intake process in Omaha, NE. The role operates 6:00am–3:00pm CT with a meal break and requires on-site work. You will set up and assign new workers’ compensation claims, update databases, and communicate with brokers as needed.

The position offers potential growth into a Claims Trainee role, a generous benefits package, and an annual bonus. Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced team

Qualifications

1+ year of insurance experience, preferably in commercial insurance or claims.
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Strong customer service and telephone communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
Detail-oriented with accountability and follow-through.
Willingness to learn the Triage function and advance to Claims Adjuster.
Guidewire/ClaimsCenter experience preferred but not required.
Experience using AI/LLM prompts preferred.
Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide clerical support to claims adjusters for intake and assignment.
Update new and existing claims in the claims database and contact brokers as needed.
Screen incoming calls and route to proper party.
Prepare written correspondence.
Print attachments and mail checks.
Electronic and paper filing as needed.
Determine coverage and adjuster assignment.
Investigate the claim by calling claimants and insured.
Process mail and prioritize workload.
Gather technical information by ordering reports.
Handle telephone calls from insured, claimant, and brokers.
Support strong claim management practices.
