Job summary

Argo Group is seeking a Director, Claims Triage to lead a nationwide triage operation from one of several offices (Richmond, Albany, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Omaha, etc.). The role focuses on timely intake, accurate routing of workers' compensation, liability, inland marine and property claims, and driving efficiency through advanced technology, including an AI-based LLM system.

Qualifications

• Proven people management experience with a strong customer service orientation.
• Experience leading triage claims and driving process improvements.
• Bachelor's degree required, or four additional years of claims operations experience in lieu of the degree.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification strongly preferred, plus AI/LLM project experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3 Senior Triage Specialists and a Triage Team Lead with 4 specialists.
• Set operating characteristics, metrics, and benchmarks for triage claim management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives involving people, processes and technology, including LLM implementation.
• Collaborate with senior Claims leadership to optimize intake, triage, and assignment of US-wide claims.
• Oversee budgeting, development plans, and stakeholder relationships to ensure value and compliance.
