Job summary

The Baldwin Group seeks a Claims Specialist in Birmingham, AL to review FNOL, determine submission paths, and support underwriting submissions. You will assist in client communications under supervision and ensure compliant handling of sensitive information.

You will provide top-tier client service, maintain meticulous claim records, and stay informed on industry trends to improve processes and efficiency.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a client/customer facing or support role is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office Word and Excel with ability to learn new system programs.

Responsibilities

• Review FNOL and determine proper submission path for adjudication.
• Collaborate with Claims Consultant to develop underwriting review submissions.
• Assist in preparing internal and external claim-related correspondence under supervision.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and confidentiality in handling claims.
• Provide excellent client servicing and timely updates on claim status.
• Maintain accurate claim records and documentation.
