Job summary

ColonialWebb Contractors Company is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician in Newport News, VA to perform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC systems and related controls, and handle general repairs as needed for customer facilities.

The role requires experience with commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, BAS/Hydronics knowledge, and OSHA/EPA credentials where applicable. Journeyman license preferred, high school diploma or equivalent, and a competitive benefits package await.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• EPA certification and knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Journeyman HVAC license is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medium to large sized HVAC systems and related controls.
• Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with instruments, disassemble and repair components.
