Job summary

ColonialWebb Contractors Company in Newport News, VA seeks an HVAC Foreman to lead field operations on commercial projects. You will supervise HVAC mechanics and helpers, perform installation and service work, and coach the team on safety and best practices to prevent injuries.

In collaboration with Construction Managers and Project Managers, you'll review labor needs, materials, and progress to ensure work meets schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Current or previous leadership experience as Foreman, Supervisor, or Superintendent on commercial HVAC projects.
• In-depth experience and knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.
• Journeyman’s or Master’s HVAC License (preferred, not required).
• Ability to interpret drawings and plans.
• Safety minded with knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• High energy level to handle fast-paced workload.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate work activities for HVAC mechanics and helpers.
• Perform installation and service duties while guiding others.
• Prioritize safety and coach the team on best practices to prevent injuries.
• Collaborate with Construction Managers and Project Managers to discuss labor and material requirements and evaluate work in progress to meet scheduling, budget and quality standards.
