Job summary

ColonialWebb seeks an experienced HVAC Service Technician to support Newport News Building Services. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain large commercial HVAC systems and related controls, applying your troubleshooting expertise daily.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with commercial/industrial systems, knowledge of safety standards, and may hold a Journeyman's license. This role offers career growth in a trusted MEP contractor environment.

Qualifications

• Work experience as a HVAC Service Technician with a specialization in troubleshooting, servicing and repairing commercial and Industrial HVAC equipment.
• Highly skilled at diagnosing, repairing, and performing maintenance on commercial HVAC systems and related controls.
• Applicable Journeyman's license (preferred, but not required).
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Use your HVAC skills and experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medium to large sized complex heating and cooling systems and associated control systems.
• Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to HVAC equipment and associated components.
