Job summary

SAIC is seeking an FMS Lead Systems Engineer to support Foreign Military Sales programs for PMA251 Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment. You will provide engineering support to FMS teams, integrating EMALS and AAG on the Future French Carrier, and advise PMA251 leadership and case managers.

Responsibilities include reviewing technical documents, coordinating meetings with Contractors and PMA domestic teams, leading SETRs, and ensuring compliance with NAVAIR FMS processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant Systems Engineering experience.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
• Clearance: US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance.
• International travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Review and accept engineering documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate meetings with Contractors and PMA domestic team.
• Lead technical reviews and coordinate with PMA stakeholders.
• Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and correspondence.
• Facilitate communications across PMA IPTs, FMS, USN, and contractors.
• Support SETR events and evaluate cost, schedule, and performance impacts.
