Placements24 is seeking a strategic Trade Marketing Specialist for a hybrid role in Upington. You will develop channel-specific plans, analyze market trends, and collaborate with sales to drive in-store promotions and ROI across FMCG channels.

You will partner with brand marketing to ensure consistent messaging, manage materials, and foster strong retail partnerships. A minimum 4 years in trade marketing within FMCG is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years in trade marketing, channel marketing, or brand management within FMCG.
• Proven experience developing and executing trade marketing programs and promotions.
• Hybrid work model experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute channel-specific trade marketing plans and promotions to support sales objectives.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales to implement in-store promotions, displays, and merchandising programs.
• Manage development and production of trade marketing materials, including POS materials and signage.
• Oversee the trade marketing budget and track ROI.
• Build and maintain relationships with retail partners for collaborative marketing.
• Measure campaign effectiveness and provide actionable insights.
• Stay up-to-date with FMCG trade marketing trends and best practices.
• Work with brand marketing to ensure consistent messaging across channels.
