Placements24 is assisting a distinguished FMCG leader by recruiting an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee operations in Welkom, Free State. You will lead end-to-end supply chain activities, driving efficiency, cost optimization and timely delivery across procurement, inventory, logistics and distribution.

The role requires a Bachelor or higher in SCM-related fields with 8+ years in supply chain, preferably in FMCG, and a track record of leading teams and negotiating with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Logistics, Operations Management or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years in supply chain management with FMCG exposure.
• Proven track record in warehousing, transportation and inventory control.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and service providers.
• Proficiency in SCM software and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in FMCG.
• Strong communication with stakeholders in Welkom.

Requirements

• Proven track record in managing complex supply chain operations, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory control.
