About the Role

Our client, a dynamic and expanding company in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in Welkom, Free State, ZA . This role is integral to optimizing the company's supply chain operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, improving logistics, and reducing operational costs. The successful candidate will leverage data analysis to identify trends, forecast demand, and implement strategies for supply chain enhancement. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong quantitative background and a passion for logistics and supply chain optimization within the fast-paced FMCG environment. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement in Welkom, Free State .
• Develop and maintain demand forecasts in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
• Monitor inventory levels and work to optimize stock rotation and minimize holding costs.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced), SQL, or Power BI.
• Experience with demand forecasting and inventory management techniques.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
• Must be based in or willing to commute to Welkom, Free State .
