Placements24 is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to optimize FMCG operations in Welkom. This role oversees procurement, inventory, logistics, and warehousing, driving cost reductions and efficiency gains across the end-to-end supply chain.

The ideal candidate brings at least 6 years of FMCG supply chain experience, strong ERP knowledge, and a proven track record in performance improvement and team leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in supply chain management within the FMCG industry.
• Proven track record of optimizing supply chain operations and reducing costs.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute strategic supply chain plans to meet business objectives and customer demands.
• Manage and optimize inventory levels to minimize costs while ensuring product availability.
• Oversee procurement processes, negotiate with suppliers, and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Coordinate logistics and transportation activities to ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of goods.
• Implement and manage warehouse operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for the supply chain and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain processes and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, production, and finance, to ensure seamless integration of supply chain operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
• Manage the supply chain team, providing leadership, training, and development.
