Placements24 is seeking a Production Planner for a leading FMCG manufacturer in Paarl, Western Cape. You will create detailed production plans, coordinate with sales, procurement and operations, and ensure timely material availability to meet demand.

The role emphasizes optimizing machine utilization, reducing waste, and delivering regular production reports. Candidates should have proven planning experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with ERP systems and Excel.

Qualifications

Experience as Production Planner in FMCG preferred.
Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain principles.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain accurate production schedules for all product lines in the Paarl FMCG facility.
Collaborate with sales, procurement and operations to forecast demand and ensure material availability.
Optimize production plans to maximize machine utilization and minimize changeover times.
Monitor progress against the plan and adjust to maintain schedule adherence.
Prepare and distribute production reports with KPIs and improvement opportunities.
Coordinate production stages and departments to ensure smooth workflow.
