This role is pivotal in ensuring that production activities are optimally scheduled to meet demand while maximizing resource utilization and minimizing lead times. You will be responsible for creating detailed production plans, coordinating with various departments, and monitoring progress against schedules. This position requires strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts and available capacity.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
• Monitor production progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement necessary adjustments.
• Optimize schedules to improve efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and minimize work-in-progress inventory.
• Generate production reports detailing output, schedules adherence, and material status.
• Collaborate with management to forecast production needs and plan for future capacity requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Production Planner or Scheduler in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of production processes and supply chain principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Proficiency in using planning software (e.g., ERP systems, scheduling tools) and MS Excel.
