Job summary

Orvis seeks a Retail Fishing Manager to lead a fly-fishing department on site. You will coach associates, deliver exceptional customer service, and train staff on rigging and product knowledge while upholding the brand’s values. The role reports to the Retail Store Manager and involves active community engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent retail and sales analysis abilities.
• Deep knowledge of fly fishing and fly tying.
• Ability to teach and train staff on technical product knowledge.
• Comfort with physical store duties and lifting up to 30 pounds.
• College degree and merchandising experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead training on product knowledge, rigging, and instruction.
