Job summary

Snelling is seeking a dependable Flux Core Welder for our Texas production facility. This full-time position offers $17.00 per hour and involves long 12-hour shifts with mandatory overtime. Weekly schedule: Monday through Friday starting at 5:00 AM until production is finished, plus Saturday afternoons.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate overhead hoist. Qualified candidates will be proficient in FCAW, pass fillet and butt weld tests, and demonstrate ability to read welding symbols

Qualifications

• Proficient in FCAW welding.
• Able to read welding symbols and set up welding equipment.
• Must pass fillet and butt weld tests and 2G CJP test on 1-inch plate.

Responsibilities

• Weld using flux core FCAW in a fast-paced production setting.
• Interpret welding symbols and adjust machines accordingly.
• Operate overhead hoist and lift up to 50 pounds while maintaining safety.

Flux Core Welder

Pay: $17.00/hour

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:
Monday-Friday: 5:00 AM until production is finished
Saturday: 12:00 PM-6:00 PM

Currently working approximately 12-hour shifts

Mandatory overtime

30-minute lunch

We are seeking a dependable Flux Core Welder with strong welding skills and the ability to work extended hours in a fast-paced production environment.

Skills and Requirements

• Must be proficient in FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding)
• Pass fillet and butt weld tests
• Pass a 2G Complete Joint Penetration (CJP) weld test on 1-inch plate
• Properly set and adjust welding machines
• Read and understand welding symbols
• Safely operate an overhead hoist
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Maintain dependable and consistent attendance
