Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a FluxCore Welder for a contract-to-hire role in Hudson, WI. You will fabricate heavy equipment, read blueprints, and perform multipass FluxCore welds on thick mild steel, using MIG and fabrication tools.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of FluxCore welding experience, can lift 50 lbs, and are comfortable working onsite at a family-owned shop that offers competitive benefits and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years heavygauge FluxCore welding.
• Proficiency with .030 & .045 wire.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently in a fabrication environment.
• Structural welding & blueprint reading.
• Fabrication and MIG welding experience.

FluxCore Welder Heavy Equipment Fabrication | $22$30/hour

Join a familyowned, safetydriven fabrication shop building the heavyduty equipment that keeps the construction and industrial world moving. As a FluxCore Welder, youll fabricate excavator buckets, structural components, and industrial assemblies from start to finish working with thick mild steel, performing multipass welds, and contributing to highimpact projects seen on job sites across the country.

What Youll Do

• Fabricate heavyduty equipment including excavator buckets and large industrial assemblies

• Perform multipass FluxCore welds on mild steel ranging from 1/4" to 3" thick

• Interpret blueprints to complete fabrication tasks accurately from start to finish

• Execute structural welding on large components and assemblies

• Use MIG and fabrication tools to support fullcycle production

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
