Job summary

Plane Software, Inc. is seeking a Flutter-focused mobile engineer to own features end to end—from UI to native code—across platforms. You will work with backend, design, product, and QA teams in San Francisco and Hyderabad to ship reliable mobile experiences.

You will enforce a clean architecture, champion state-management patterns, and write tests while building. Experience with Bloc, DI, and webview integration is a plus.

Qualifications

• Shipped and maintained Flutter apps in production.
• Architect for others joining after you, with clean architecture.
• Understand state management as a pattern, not a library.
• Practice dependency injection and tests in daily work.
• Write unit and widget tests while building features.
• Match codebase patterns to the surrounding project.

Responsibilities

• Own feature areas end to end, from UI to data layer.
• Ensure consistency with architecture across platforms.
• Own native surfaces on both Android and iOS.
• Shape the editor UX to feel integrated in the app.
• Handle how work reaches a phone: notifications & inbox.
• Collaborate daily with backend, design, product, QA across teams.
• Ship features for self-hosted and cloud deployments.
