Job summary

Plane Careers is hiring a Software Engineer, Mobile (Flutter) in the United States. You will own end-to-end Flutter mobile features, spanning the interface, data layer, and native code, collaborating with backend, design, and QA teams across San Francisco and Hyderabad.

You will ensure architectural consistency, work with Bloc for state management, and contribute to self-hosted and cloud deployments. Bring strong Flutter/Dart skills and a passion for scalable mobile apps.

Qualifications

• Shipped and maintained Flutter apps in production.
• Experience architecting mobile apps with clean architecture and SOLID principles.
• Proficient in state management patterns, especially Bloc.
• Strong understanding of native platform integration (iOS/Android).

Responsibilities

• Own feature areas end to end, from UI to data layer and native code.
• Ensure consistent architecture across features and teams.
• Own native surface on both Android and iOS platforms.
• Lead editor UX within the app and integrate with the mobile framework.
• Manage push notifications, in-app notifications, inbox, and activity feeds.
• Collaborate with backend, design, product, and QA across multiple offices.
• Ship features that work with self-hosted and cloud deployments.
