Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is staffing for Boeing in Seattle, Washington, to fill an Associate or Mid-Level MP&P Technician role (Level 2 or 3) in the Fluids and Lubricants Lab. This six-month contract supports engineering, manufacture, and sustainment of Boeing products.

The position focuses on QA testing of fluids, qualification of tools and materials, and instrument calibration, with 1st shift hours and a 5-day work week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry is required.
• Experience operating analytical test equipment including XRF, FTIR, pH meters, titration, GC and GC/MS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Performs QA testing of fluids and lubricants.
• Tests to qualify new tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes to meet requirements.
• Maintains laboratory equipment including calibration certification.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment with 5S SOPs.
• Prepare laboratory reagents and standards for instrument calibration/ verification.
• Supports complex analysis of failed parts to identify root cause and document results.
• Supports revision to procedures and specifications.
