Job summary

Siemens Energy in Orlando, FL is seeking a Fluid System Project Engineer who specifies components such as valves, heat exchangers, pumps, and instrumentation to meet customer specifications and reference design requirements. You will coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

You’ll lead proposal processes, define cost sheets, manage order execution for Gas Turbine auxiliaries, and develop P&IDs while reviewing BOMs and vendor drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Eager to learn and acquire experience in related cross-discipline areas.
• Effective communication (written and verbal) across multi-functional teams.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Define and update proposal cost sheets.
• Primary contact for all Fluid Systems-related questions for Lube Oil Packages, Hydraulic Skid, etc.
• Responsible for the complete order execution process of Gas Turbine auxiliaries. Manage the Fluid System technical Scope for Steam and Gas Turbines packages.
• Develop and configure Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for all systems.
• Provide Technical Specifications and Review technical documents such as Bill of Materials, vendor drawings, etc.
• Provide back-office support during implementation and commissioning activities at site.
• Collaborate with internal interface partners like I&C, electrical engineering, piping & layout.
